Old Fashioned Thanksgiving
The Lord's Day November 23, 2008
We began with a prelude moment of silence.
The congregation then sang "We Gather Together", prior to the Parson's prayer.
We sang Spiritual Songs of Consecration, led by Brother Braun, after which Brother Mike DeAlmeida
led us in the Blessed and Sacred Responsive Reading.
Next, the choir sang "Give Thanks", as we all are so thankful to our Lord for our many blessings in Him.
After greeting one another and giving our gifts and offerings to the Lord, we were blessed by Brother Darwin
with a special song "In the Garden".
Our Parson then read to us from a sermon by the great Christian orator, Charles Haddon Spurgeon,
entitled "The Throne of Grace".
After our worhip service, we gathered together for a delicious Thanksgiving dinner and time of fellowship.
It was truly a wonderful and blessed day!
