What kind of Christian do I want to be, and how does this affect my walk with God?
- BABY CHRISTIAN
- 1Corinthians 3:1, 2:9, 14 -16, Has not grown very much in the depths of knowing Him
- 1Peter 2:2, Can only understand the basic insights of scripture
- Ephesians 4:14, Often tricked by crafty people
- Hebrews 5:11-14, Easily fooled about what is and what isn't important in life
- Frequently changes his mind about what he believes
- CARNAL CHRISTIAN
- 1Corinthians 3:1-3, Out of fellowship with God
- Cannot understand a deep spiritual subject
- MATURING CHRISTIAN
- Ephesians 4:13-15, Striving after Christ
Pleasing God is #1 priority
Is obedient and wants God to be in complete control
- Hebrews 5:14, Can handle strong food
- 1John 2:13-14, Overcoming temptation and satanic attacks
- 1Corinthians 13:11, Striving after love and not sign gifts, nor quarreling over childish things
- Phillipians 1:9-11, GROWING
Loves others in a deeper way "Love may abound"
Is learning more and more about God "In knowledge"
Able to distinguish between right and wrong "In judgment"
Filled with fruit of righteousness
Sincerity - learning to have purer motives in all he/she does
**Is not asking "What can I get away with before God?"
asks "What can I do to please God?"
